Naturally I googled. Bone marrow tests. Mmm. Then I googled ‘anaemia no symptoms’ and came up with something called indolent leukemia. Good grief I hope it’s not that. Why didn’t I google this before?? Why didn’t the GPs pay more attention to his anaemia?
If I spend any more time on Google I’ll be a wreck. I’d better wait for an actual diagnosis… and hope that it’s not that indolent thing.
(Sidenote – prognosis for ‘that indolent thing’ varies hugely and we didn’t know at the time how long – and how well – people can live with these cancers).
